Job Responsibilities: Job Summary: We are seeking a faithful and enthusiastic full-time Minister to serve our congregation. Under the oversight of and in conjunction with our elders, the successful candidate will fully engage our deacons, ministry leaders, and members as we seek to be an intentional, relational gathering of Christians who meet regularly to help people be disciples of Jesus and to make disciples of Jesus. Key Responsibilities: Preaching and Teaching: Deliver sermons, lead Bible studies, and working with our educational ministry leaders – develop educational programs that promote spiritual growth and discipleship for all ages. Shepherding: Along with our elders: Nurture the spiritual well-being of members, encouraging their involvement in church life and ministries. Provide emotional and spiritual support to members, including counseling, visitation, and pastoral care. Community Engagement: Working with our evangelism and service ministry leaders - develop and implement outreach programs, fostering relationships with the local community and promoting the church’s mission. Worship: Along with our worship leaders – plan and lead worship services as well as special services as requested. Leadership and Planning: Along with elders, deacons, and ministry leaders – oversee church operations, lead staff and volunteers, and develop strategies for church growth and outreach. Administration: Assist the elders and the deacons in charges of finance, facilities, and resources to ensure effective stewardship and compliance with church policies. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in ministry or related field preferred Experience in ministry. Effective communication and people skills Ability to preach and teach.
