Description: The Briensburg Church of Christ, which began in 1844, in Benton, KY (Western KY) is seeking a full time minister. Briensburg is a congregation of 75 members, served by four elders, two deacons, and a retiring minister of 41 years who will remain on staff in various capacities. We are taking steps to insure growth. Duties of this full time position will include, but not limited to, full time pulpit minister, teaching Bible classes and helping increase the number of young families attending the congregation. The candidate is ideally an energetic family man who can help minister the congregation under the oversight of the elders, help lead the congregation in community outreach and build a youth group. Educational preference is a four-year degree from a Christian college or a graduate of a church sponsored school of preaching. Five years of ministry experience is preferred but not required.
