Move Forward
We don’t know what kind of day you had yesterday as you brought the gift of God’s rich Word from your preparation and laid it at the ears of your Family. There have been more times than I’d like to admit that mine could be more akin to a white elephant gift than the blessings I intended to bring. Regardless, may we challenge you to put Sunday with it’s successes or sadnesses behind you and move forward into the opportunities of this week. Move forward into the lives of others - your family, friends, the guy who delivers your mail or the gal who delivers your meal. Move into their lives. Minister. Listen to people this week. There will be people who you will make their holidays by simply slowing down and hearing a bit of their story. In the rush into the holidays and the frustrations that can crowd out your own joy - you will find joy in sharing the lives of others. Take time, slow down, listen, share in the lives of others. Remember the Savior was a “acquainted with sorrow” yet brought peace and promised joy. As you step into their pain He will bring you those twin blessings and you will impact lives on His behalf. And if we can help you or you need us to listen to you let us know. May God’s best be your’s this season.
