Preacher, you are Loved!

Sunday would have been our Dad’s 81st birthday. If he were still alive and his health would have allowed it, he would have preached several times on Sunday.

Dad loved preaching, and he loved preachers. It was that love for preaching and preachers that he instilled in us; that caused us to establish The Jenkins Institute.

So, on our Dad’s Birthday, we want to remember him by telling you how much we love and appreciate you.

We love you because of the decision you made to be a preacher. We understand that it is not always easy and not always rewarding, but thank you for continuing to make that decision every week in your life.

We love you for your passion and commitment to be about the Father’s business. God’s business is the salvation of men’s souls, and as a preacher, you are on the front line of Kingdom work. Thank you for remaining committed even in the face of opposition, disappointment, and challenging days.

We love you for having the heart of a servant and a minister. As a minister, we are never more like our Savior than when we humble ourselves to serve others.

We love you for preaching the Truth of God’s Word. In a world that is saturated with news as well as the opinions of men, it is refreshing to know men who speak Truth.

We love you because you are God’s man. One of the great blessings of life is to see men who cannot be bought and who are not controlled by anyone on this earth. Thank you for your loyalty to King Jesus.

We love you because of the sacrifices that you and your family make to do the work of God. Few people know or understand how many sacrifices the preacher’s family makes so that others can learn the Good News about the love of Jesus.

Please know that you are loved and appreciated by many, because of everything you do for the Lord.
