We are a people of the Word

We believe in the Word of God. We believe it contains all the pertains to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). We believe it is the Word of life (Philippians 2:13). We believe we will be judged by the things written in it (Revelation 20:112). We believe our preachers must preach the Word (2 Timothy 4:1). We believe it is inspired. Without the Word, we are sunk.

We are a people of the Heart

We believe the heart can be touched (Acts 2:37). We believe that a person must believe in Jesus with all of their heart (Acts 8:37). We believe with the heart a person believes unto righteousness (Romans 10:10). We believe a Christian whose heart can be moved will respond to good works in great ways. We believe God’s peace can rule in our heart (Colossians 3:15). Without a proper heart, we are sunk. 

If we ever forget those two we will not do well. If we ever get one right without the other we are in trouble. These two are not exclusive of each other but fully engaged bless and compliment each other. Ministry friends ever strive to be a man of both the Word and the heart.
