Enjoy the Good

Maybe you’ve had a rough day. Or there are people who you think should be back who haven’t returned. Maybe you have a nemesis that won’t stop hounding you, critiquing you, judging you. Perhaps there’s a throne in the flesh the Lord has not removed. Maybe you are struggling with your own faith. It could be you are just becoming weary of our time, culture, and circumstances. Or you might just be discouraged. 

Can I suggest that you take my list, make your own, or add to this one and change the channel of your mind. Remember our thinking controls much of our destiny (Proverbs 23:7). Turn the page with me and have a better week! 

Enjoy the good.

  • I get to stand in front of people and share the good news of God

  • Part of my job involves me studying about God and learning more of His Will for my life

  • I get to work with the best people in all the earth - Christians

  • I get to experience the happiest times in the lives of others and to walk with people through their darkest days

  • I get to encourage and promote good works

  • I get to, to a large degree make my own schedule every day

  • I don’t have to be bored, ever!

  • My bosses are all mature Christians

  • I get forced to a higher standard of judgment which makes me strive to live the best I can

  • I get to laugh without regret, and have fun without shame

  • I get others who will pray for me every day of their lives

  • And, I have an out of this world retirement plan!
