Scoops for the summer time...

Care-takers note:  The scoop blog exists to serve one purpose. To help ministers and churches connect.  We are not a guide to gage the faithfulness of anyone. We are not a promotion tool for any agenda or organization.  We are the yellow pages.  We are not paid by anyone for this work and belong to no one but Christ.  And we have no crystal ball. Therefore to exist we must have your input. We are hereby commissioning you as an official assistant in the scoop-blogging field. It's a quite simple job: When you hear of a preacher leaving (for whatever reason) a church of Christ let us know. Send an email. Make it second nature.  When you hear of a church adding a ministry role - let us know. Give us any details you have, contacts, specifics of what they are looking for, etc.  Don't assume we already know -we'd rather hear about a place 5 times than miss it once.  Sometimes we edit scoops for space and SENSE (called common) sometimes we don't (Frankly sometimes it's just crazy to see what a church wants - and reminds the rest of us of "how good we have it" :)). We thankfully exist to serve the Lord's people and the more info we have the more opportunities we can share.  Send info to: TheJenkinsInstitute@gmail.com. And, one more thing - thanks for you extreme patience.  We try to get it right and never to do harm but we do continually reserve the right to remain human.
