Help those of us who are Preachers, to remember that as we stand to proclaim Your Word, we are standing on the shoulders of giants. May we never forget that we are a link in Your chain of men. We thank You for those who have gone before us and those who will come after us.
We give you thanks for every man who will preach Your Word on Sunday. We thank You that they are willing to bear the battle in the heat of the day. We thank you for the sacrifices that they make, and the sacrifices made by their families.
We praise You because these men give themselves wholly to the work. We are thankful that they stand tall in a long line of men of God. May they rest well tonight, knowing that they are ready to continue this great work in the morning. May they have clear minds and willing hearts as they allow You to use them for Your Glory.
