A Prayer for those who proclaim

God of Comfort:

Thank You for the blessings you bring through all of those who will stand tomorrow and proclaim Your true Peace. Thank You that in the midst of the messiness of life they will lift the heads of those who hear and herald Your grace.  Thank You that You have given us the Word to speak and help each to lean heavily into it that their issues not distract us. Thank You for Your grace in our own lives realized to the extent that we desire to speak clearly on it. We ask that You protect all of those who teach and preach Your Gospel tomorrow. May they be both bold and loving and may their words be Your Words falling into hearts of both those who love You and those who will come to love You in part through those words. Help them to know that they are loved: by us, by brethren who love truth BUT most of all by You. And when all is done may they enjoy Your perfect Peace and rest in Your love.
