A Prayer for Those who Preach and Teach

Holy Father, it was Your decision to save those who believe through something the unwise would call foolish. We are thankful and humbled that You allow us to be the vessels through which the Good News is proclaimed. 

Dear God, our prayer today for Your men who will preach Your wisdom is that they will have hearts that are overflowing with Your Word. We pray that they will have peace of mind, contentment in their lives, and a spirit of discernment as they preach.

We pray Dear God, that they will feel well; physically, mentally, and spiritually as they stand before Your people to share Your wisdom. We pray that You will give them the sense that the words they speak will be the most encouraging, uplifting, powerful, and important word their people will hear this week.

Father, help those who hear Your men walk away with changed lives and a stronger desire to please You than ever before. We know that You will be with every man who preaches Your Truth on Sunday. We thank You for Your mercy and grace in our lives. May every word we utter and everything that is on our heart bring honor, glory, & praise to Your Name.
