As we approach Your Day, please help us to remember our focus in a world of distractions. Some of Your men are anxious about tomorrow. We pray that You will calm the anxiety in their souls. Some of Your men are hurting. We pray that You will allow them to be able to preach through their tears. Some of Your men are uncertain. We pray that all of us will remember that our assurance is in Jesus and not in ourselves. Some of Your men feel ill-prepared. We pray that You will bless them with a special measure of Your Grace to accomplish the task. Some of Your men feel as though they are at the end of their rope. We pray that You will help them to be able to tie a knot in their rope of faith and hang on. Dear God, may all of these be a reminder to those of us who preach that our sufficiency is not in ourselves, but it is entirely in You.
