Thankful

Dear Father:

We approach Your glorious throne with Thanksgiving in our hearts. We are thankful for Your men who preach Your Word to Your people. We are grateful for the time they have spent this week preparing their hearts, souls, and minds to speak on Your behalf. Dear God, many of these men have worked through physical pain, family pain, emotional pain, and even spiritual pain to do what You have called on them to do. 

We thank You, Father, for their hearts; hearts that are devoted to You. Please give them peace of mind, comfort in their souls, passion in their hearts, a fire in their bones, and Your love as they seek to fulfill the commitment they have made to You. Help all of us who preach to honor You, glorify You, and give You praise for Your goodness toward us.
