A Prayer for Balance

Dear Father in Heaven,

         We live in a world that is way out of balance. We live in a nation that has lost proper balance. Our nation, our families, and our churches desperately need balance. Today we pray for Your preachers that they might be an example of balance to their church families. We pray for these men that they might be balanced. We pray for balance in their personal lives, we pray for balance in their families, we pray for balance in their ministry, we pray for balance in their preparation, and we pray for balance in their proclamation.

         We pray that all of us who preach will have the proper balance between head & heart. We pray that we will have the proper balance between preaching the Truth & preaching it in love. We pray that we will show those who hear us what it means to live a balanced life. Thank you, Dear God, for the balance we see in Your Word and in Your love for us. In Jesus Name we Pray, Amen.
