A Prayer for Preachers

Dear Father in Heaven, 

         We praise You because of Your kindness & faithfulness toward us. We praise You because of Your majesty & Your greatness. Dear God, we praise You because You provide sanity in a crazy world. We praise You, Father, because in a world that is forever changing, You are our solid Rock.

         We confess to You that we are weak and at times we feel anxiety. We are anxious about the health of someone we love or our own health. We are anxious about our country, about our jobs, and about our family.

         We give You thanks for being the answer to all of our anxieties and we pray that You will help us trust You more. Please Father, remove any fear, anxiety, and uncertainty from the hearts of Your preachers. Please fill all of our hearts with Your Word, Your hope, and Your love.  In Jesus Name we Pray, Amen.
