A prayer In a time of unrest

Father,

In a time of national unrest and uncertainty I pray for peace in the hearts of these Your men. I pray that they will not have fear in their hearts. Father, grant them focus and help them to not be deterred from Your Will and Your Word. Help them to not engage in foolish questions that only bring strife. Help them to disquiet those who would love to dabble in drama. Help them to aid others in growing to be more like You and less like the world in this time. May we remember that You see the end before the beginning. May we remember that Your throne is Sovereign and Your Will will be accomplished. Help us to trust that.
