A Prayer Requesting God’s Help

Dear Father, 

         As we prepare to worship You and preach Your Word on Sunday, we live with the realization that many of those who hear us are tired. In fact, many of us may feel worn-out and beaten down by life. Please help these men who will proclaim Your Word to remember the wonderful invitation from our Lord for all who are weary to come to Him.

We thank You, dear God that you know and remember every hurt, pain, heartache, & concern that Your preachers feel. Help us to try to look at life from Your perspective. We are thankful that You have both the desire and the power to help us. May we remember that we can approach Your matchless throne at any time and that we can cast all our cares on You. For this beautiful promise, we thank You and we praise You.
