Thank You, for them

God,

Thank You for these Your servants. They listen patiently to complaints and murmuring they can do nothing about, they mediate mischief they did not bring about, they pray for people who have tried to do them harm, they hurt when someone throws acid words their way, they sting when they have to take responsibility for things that happen beyond their control, they try to calm drama they did not stir up, they are patient with others, thank You for leaving an example that these men have learned from and are trying to follow. Grant them at this particular time where nerves seem especially sensitive and tensions seem high, an extra measure of the gifts above. Help them to know they are loved.
