Focus

Holy Father,

When our world is invaded by trial, tribulation, temptations, & troubles it becomes increasingly difficult for us to keep our minds focused on what is most important. We pray that You will help those of us who are endeavoring to help calm the hearts of men with Your Word to fix our eyes on You.

May we remember that when we speak Your Word, it is the most important Word that many will hear this week. Help us to never forget that whether we are standing in a building preaching to hundreds, or in a small room looking at a camera, when we speak Your Truth, it will accomplish what You intend. Father, please bless the hearts of Your men as they prepare and as they preach. Please grant to us a calm spirit as we proclaim Your life-giving, life-changing Word.
