This Moment

Father:

These Your men love You and love Your Family. Many of them will hurt tomorrow, not being face-to-face with those they seek to serve. Yet we are thankful for You and that we can still be with You and You with us. They will prepare as normal; they will pray as always, they will present as best they can. Yet it will not be the same. Father, many will carry a burden with them tomorrow, for we too are human. We, too, are still growing in our faith. At times, we, too, feel some uneasiness creeping toward anxiety. We, too, wonder what the immediate future will be like. We, too, wonder what the economy of the future looks like. We, too, have loved ones who have, or we think might contact this virus. We, too, are feeling the adverse effects of isolation. We, too, are concerned about what this pause is doing to the church we love and serve. We, too, are concerned about the members we cannot serve as we usually would. Father, help each to remember that the concerns of the Children are the concerns of the Father. Help each of these Your men to remember that You love them and will meet every need and exceed our desires and may each grow in faith and in hope and continue in love and in service. Be with them as they struggle to present Your Message in a situation many are not accustomed to tomorrow. Help them to be the best they can be for this moment in time. And may each of them remember, YOU LOVE THEM.

In Jesus Name,

AMEN
