Dear Father

Dear Father,

We know that Your preachers are ready. They have prepared themselves for this moment, for this day, for this time. They have given prayerful consideration to choosing just the right message for this occasion. They have bathed themselves in Your Word and in prayer. Many of us have been anxiously awaiting this day.

Now, Dear God, help us to trust You and Your Word. May we believe with all of our heart that Your Word will bless those who are hurting, calm the hearts of those who are afraid, and pierce the souls of those who desperately need You. Father help us to remember that our job is the preach the Truth in love and leave the rest to You.
