Father:

Bless these humble dedicated servants who seek to understand and then communicate Your Truth. We seek direction, energy, wisdom, confidence, creativity, faithfulness, insight, persuasiveness, perseverance, courage, conviction, compassion, empathy, eagerness, understanding, trust, loyalty, devotion, and dedication. Most of all, Father, those of us who preach, we need YOU. Thank You for being the Giver of every good gift and help us to rest in You. And please help us to quail those traits which would keep us from being more effective for Thy cause.
