For the Men Who Preach, We Pray...

Dear Father in Heaven,

For the men who preach Your Gospel:

We pray with David, “Be gracious to me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.”

We pray with our Savior, “…Holy Father, keep them in Your Name, the Name which You have given Me, that they may be one even as we are.”

We pray with Paul, “That you may be filled with knowledge of His Will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously giving thanks to the Father, who qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light.”
