Preparation

Dear Heavenly Father,

Your people around the world will gather to worship You in a matter of hours. As Your preachers focus our hearts on You, we pray that everything we do and say will be pleasing to You. Please help us to prepare ourselves, as well those with whom we worship, to bow before you with reverence, gratitude, and humility. Father, when we leave, may we be better than we were when we arrived. Help us to come before You with open hearts, open minds, and open Bibles.

Dear God, please help those of us who proclaim Your Word to Your people, to speak with humble hearts. Help us not to make it about us, but to make it about You. Help us to point people away from us, and to the Lamb of God who takes away our sins. Father help us to honor and glorify You in everything we say and do. In the Name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.
