A Prayer For God's Strength

Dear God,

Some of Your men will preach on Sunday with heavy or broken hearts. Some of these men are concerned about their marriage, or their children, or their finances, or about their job, or maybe even about their faith. 

Father, may we never forget that there is no problem too great for You. Help us to remember that You are bigger than any worry that seeks to keep us from preaching. Help us to rely on Your strength more than on ours. Dear Father, we pray especially today for these men who are wondering how in the world they will make it through the day. Please bring comfort, peace, security, and resolve to their hearts.

In the Name of the One who calmed the storms, we pray, Amen.
