Peace for the journey

Father,

Bless these Your men who labor in Your Kingdom. May they see You as the Source of joy in presenting your Good News. May they embrace with their whole heart Your Word as The Source for the message they proclaim. May they be able to get self and any self-promotion or self-serving interests out of the way of Truth. May they find Your love as they speak to challenging issues or matters. Help them to love those who work against their efforts, help them to minister to those who are difficult, help them to find words to confront, connect, challenge, correct, comfort, change, and encourage. Help them to hold the treasure of the Gospel forth in such an attractive manner that all who hear will desire Your Son. And, may they find peace in the knowledge that You are with them in these enormous task.
