Our hearts are set on Sunday. Our minds are focused on proclaiming Your Word. We pray fervently that every Gospel preacher who stands before Your people will have the mind of Christ, the attitude of Christ, and the heart of Christ.
Please help us, like Jesus, to be characterized by humility and servanthood. Forgive us when we focus more on ourselves than we do our Savior and the saints. Please remove pride and arrogance far from us. Help us to remember as we preach that we are serving You and we are serving others. Dear God, we long to be more like You and Your Son.
