A Prayer for Your Worship

A PRAYER FOR YOUR WORSHIP



Father,

Help these ,Your men, who teach and preach, who minister, who shoulder so many burdens for souls, so much external and internal pressure to do well, carry so many duties both required and expected, have so much knowledge of people’s past and hardships, to rejoice in worship today. May they be able to focus their meditation in the Supper on Your sacrifice. May they celebrate in worship the resurrection of Your Son which assures our own glorious resurrection. May they participate in the praise of Your people to Your name. May they be able to give with cheer. And, as they stand to preach, may their hearts be full of Your truth and Your love. Bless them with peace and joy as they worship in the midst of potential distractions.
