The Blessing of Preaching

Dear Father of Mercies,

We know that every good gift and every perfect gift comes from You. We believe with all our hearts that all spiritual blessings are found in our Savior. We give You thanks for the blessing of preaching Your Word. We pray that all of us who will proclaim Your Message on Sunday will do so with thankful hearts. We plead with You to calm the hearts, minds, and souls of these men who will speak words of comfort, grace, and peace. Please give to them an understanding that they are loved and kept by Your Divine Presence. Help them remember that You will not leave them or forsake them.
