A Prayer for Vision

Holy Father in Heaven,

We pray that you would bless Your preachers around the world. We pray that You will give them vision to clearly see Your Word and to recognize how to apply Your Word to the hearts of those who hear them. Please, Dear God, give Your men the vision to see the real spiritual needs of the people who will gather on Sunday. Help them to notice those who seem alone, isolated, or hurting. May they see and remember that they are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses who have walked the path before them. Help Your men to see in their heart that You are with them, that You stand beside them, and that You will never leave them.
