Dear Father in Heaven, so many of us who preach, as well as those who hear us, will be thinking about freedom within the next few days. We do pray that You will help Your men to remind Your people of the freedoms we enjoy every day in our lives because of Jesus. We thank You that most preachers who will talk about the unsearchable riches of Jesus on Sunday will do so with the freedom to speak without fear of being harmed or persecuted. Help those of us who do enjoy this freedom to pray for and encourage Your men who do not enjoy this freedom. May all of us forever remember and be grateful for the fact that we have this freedom only because of the death of Your Son. Thank You, dear God, for making this freedom possible by Your sacrifice. Help those of us who preach to glorify You in our preaching and in our lives. Help us to shout this freedom to the entire world. In the Precious Name of the One who died for the freedom from sin for the whole world, we pray, Amen.
