We thank You for the privilege and honor of being able to preach Your Word. May we never forget that this is a gift of Your grace and that it is not by our own wisdom or power. We know that some of Your men who will be preaching to Your people this weekend will do so through great pain.
Some of these men are enduring physical pain. Some of them find themselves in a season of emotional pain due to the loss of someone they love. Some of Your preachers are struggling with some specific temptation or sin. Some of these men are concerned about their jobs. Some of them are dealing with other types of heartaches. Dear God, would you please give all of these men a special measure of Your compassion, Your grace, Your mercy, and Your love? Would you please bring peace and comfort to their hearts? In the Name of our Wonderful Savior, we pray, amen.
