Springing forward with New Scoops

OK. It's New Website Format Wednesday!  Before we get to Scoops today a quick, more than you want to know, history.  I (Dale) began my blog about 12 years ago. That site crashed and I moved to "Blogger" about 10 years ago - it was special. Just me writing my heart. Nobody read it back then - in fact it was so quiet that that is where I announced I was leaving Granny White to move to Spring Meadows - 10 days BEFORE it was made public (http://www.dalejenkins.blogspot.com/2006/05/living-courageously.html). At some point I moved websites again - that's when I changed the name to dalejenkins.com. I designed the site using Apple's platform.  Then a good friend asked if he could develop the site for me - do some thing I couldn't and he did a great job. But he had a full time job and over time he had other duties. I got another good friend to help for a while.  Then when Jeff and I launched The Jenkins Institute site another dear friend volunteered to build the site. He did great - but then his own stuff took off and he needed relief. So another friend stepped in.  We have had a dual challenge. We want a first class site but no one has been willing to let us pay them - therefore - we ended up being a secondary role for these very helpful friends.  The other side - neither Jeff nor I know enough to build the site. BUT we've decided to bite the bullet and are doing our own site now.  So bear with us as we make changes and improvements.  NOW, on to scoops.
