GA: The Carteret Road church in Brunswick is looking for a preacher. Brunswick is on the southwest coast of Georgia, and both St. Simons and Jekyll Islands are nearby. It is about 70 miles north of Jacksonville, FL. Attendance runs around 50. TN: The Hartsville Pike congregation in Gallatin is looking for a full-time Youth and Family Minister. FL: The Pace congregation has an immediate opening for a youth and family minister. They average 135 for Sunday morning worship. Pace currently does not have elders but is working toward that end. The church began in 2009 and is located in a growing area east of Pensacola. The desired candidate should be a Bible/Ministry major and competent using technology and social media. SC: The Georgetown church is searching for a full-time minister. They have been looking for about a year now. They would like your help getting the word out. Georgetown is located on the coast centrally between Myrtle Beach and Charleston. They have approximately 90 members and are led by four elders. They want to reach out to their community to “show our love for God while spreading the good news of Christ through His Word and our example.” They would like a man with a minimum of five experience in a growing congregation. A bachelor’s degree in Bible or ministry from an accredited Christian college or university will be considered beneficial. Candidate should be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, good organizational skills, comfortable using modern forms of technology, and able to work with diverse ages and ethnicity. CA: Woodward Park church in Fresno has transitioned the youth minister, Joel Harper, to lead their College aged ministry. Recent Harding grad Hunter Dycus and Merideth Goodman (FHU 2018) are scheduled to marry in August and begin working in youth ministry then. Scoop to Ken Perry.

They are a church of 150 with an attendance of about 210. They recently planted another congregation and are building back after that.
MI: The Grandville church in Western Michigan is looking for a Youth and Family Ministry. They have an average attendance of 200-220. They are a racially diverse and an intergenerational church. Here is some of what they say: “It is our vision that the Youth and Family Minister will serve all segments of our church family from birth to age 35. Included in that group would be young married and singles to age 35. He will coordinate planned family and youth ministry activities that reflect Biblical objectives, guidance by the Holy Spirit and blend with the overall mission and vision of the church.
