The Goose...scoop (The Scoop Blog = Ministry Openings)

scoops logo copy.png

Several of you are new to “Scoops” this time. So just a couple of things. First, by posting we are not commenting on whether you would be a good fit or of the health of a congregation. We are the Want Ads, it is your job to kick the tires. Second, we reserve the right to be human. If you see a mistake kindly point it out and we will check it out and make necessary changes. Third, IF you believe “no one should at that church,” that just might be a place that REALLY needs a good preacher. Finally, The Scoop Blog exists only because people share information with us. If you know of something we have not posted (check back a few) PLEASE let us know. We reserve the right to edit all Scoops sent to us (for instance we try to remove superlatives, they tend to be biased. For instance number two, we assume every church wants a “sound, faithfully, biblically solid preacher.” Those too tend to be interpreted differently by different people). If you send us a four-page job description we will significantly reduce it. Brevity is helpful. We post 4-500 Scoops a year, love doing this, and are thankful for your patience.
