AL: Cornerstone in Florence is looking for a preacher. The current preacher, Arvy Dupuy is stepping away to devote his attention to the Haiti Mission. They are a congregation of 200-225. The position’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to; providing a mentoring environment for the Youth and the Family ministers, of course preaching, teaching, visitation, in-home hospitality, community and church functions, counseling, off-site events, and follow-up contacts with new potential families. AL: The Cedar Grove Church in Andalusia, with an average attendance of 150, is looking for a minister. It is preferred that he have a Bible degree and some experience. He will work with four elders and seven deacons. The Cedar Grove congregation is over 100 years old and still very active. The city of 9,000 has a reputation of having excellent schools. TN: The Blackman church in Murfreesboro is looking for a new minister on a part-time basis with the potential of becoming full-time based on growth and performance. They would like someone with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Bible and/or Ministry from an accredited Church of Christ affiliated University or school of preaching. SC: The Edgewood Church of Christ, near downtown Greenville is searching for a preacher. The previous preacher, Donnie Vick, is leaving on good terms. The church has an attendance on Sunday mornings of about 50-60. Currently, Edgewood is without elders, but a men’s leadership class has been meeting monthly geared toward appointing qualified men to serve. There is much potential.
