They are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and faithful gospel preacher. They want a preacher with a positive outlook, good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with all ages - visit the sick (both physically and spiritually), help conduct Bible studies and encourage others as well to grow as Christians. The preacher would be encouraged to have some regular office hours for community and member access. TN: The East Main congregation in Murfreesboro is looking for its first Minister of Youth and Missions. Rutherford County is among the top 10 fastest growing counties in the nation and is located about 30 miles from Nashville. The new minister will join the current team of Pulpit Minister, Minister of College and Golden Aged. They want a man who will “be responsible to help educate and encourage our youth and provide a written monthly/yearly plan for the elders as to how to best achieve this goal.” The program has always been parent driven and they are looking for someone to work alongside parents. The man selected will also work with the elders to help oversee their many mission works. This responsibility will entail regular contacts with each of the men they support. Flexible qualifications would be a man in his late twenties to middle thirties with at least two years experience. Field Reps meet with congregations and give a PowerPoint/Keynote presentation during the Bible study hour or coordinated with an evening service at times and meet with elderships about the program to give introduction and updates. So, that’s what we have. Just a reminder. We do our very best to not write a book on each of these. Some we get are pages and pages long and we have to cut them down. Some may not like that. We also take positioning words out as they mean different things to different people. For instance the most progressive and the most conservative congregation we would post is looking for a sound preacher but that term means different terms to different people.
