AL/KY: Brian Giselbach is leaving the work at Wood Avenue in Florence to move to Hebron, KY (near Cincinnati) and work with the Point Pleasant Church of Christ. Wood Avenue has hired Ricky Berger to be their new preacher.

TX: The elders of the church of Christ at Birdville are seeking a full or part-time Gospel Preacher.  They are located in Haltom City a suburb of Fort Worth. KY: The Briensburg church in Benton is hiring a full-time Youth & Family Minister. They are a congregation of around 100, looking to grow their youth and family ministries. They have worked hard on growing their education ministry. They are looking for someone to work in a team setting to further this growth in a combined youth, family, and education setting. TN: The Jefferson Avenue church in Cookeville has hired Jesse Bates to be their new youth minister.

FL: The Pace Church of Christ is seeking a qualified candidate for the role of associate minister. The duties include three main areas: youth, education, and benevolence (weekly pantry and snack packs for needy children in local schools). He will be working with the pulpit minister and with the deacons who are in charge of these ministry areas. They would prefer someone who is at least in their late twenties, married, a graduate with a Bible degree from one of our Christian colleges, and who could preach and lead singing occasionally. Someone with skills in PowerPoint, website management, and audio-visual technology is also preferred. The congregation averaged 120-130 prior to Covid-19 and is currently having approximately 80 in attendance with many planning on returning soon. The church is led by three elders and six deacons. AL/MD: Caleb Cochran is moving to Enterprise to work as the Minister of Preaching and Evangelism at the College Avenue church. He has worked with the church in Rockville for 6 1/2 years. 

TX: The New York Avenue congregation in Arlington is looking for a youth and family minister. Ideally, they’d like someone with experience who has a passion for working with youth. They have about 30 in the youth group and about 70 kids overall. They want someone who is committed to youth ministry. AL: In January David Courington will be moving out of the pulpit at Sylvan Springs near Birmingham where he has served for nearly 40 years. He plans to continue as an elder there. They will be having several of the men and visiting preachers fill the pulpit for a  few months and hope to hire another preacher in late spring, but are not taking resumes yet. They have hired Cody Davis as a part-time youth minister.

TX: The Lake Houston church in Humble is looking to hire a full-time Youth and Family Minister. They are a congregation of 400+ and a youth group of 75+ from K-12 with 6 elders, 14 deacons, a pulpit minister, and many other various ministry leaders. Among the items they list as requirements for the position: Married with a supportive wife and baptized believer. 2 years preferred youth ministry experience. Ministry or related degree. TX: The Central Texas Children’s Home needs a husband and wife to live on the campus located in Buda and care for children ages 5-18. This job is best suited for those couples that are genuinely interested in doing direct ministry work with a group of young people that have been abused, neglected, and abandoned and are unable to live at home or with their families. MS: The Pine Vale Children's Home in Corinth is in urgent need of a married couple to serve as house-parents. This might be an opportunity to bridge a large gap between preaching positions. Preachers, you may have a couple in your congregation that would be interested if you are not. House-parents are the lifeblood of the Pine Vale Children’s Home and they are currently in need of a new set for the boy’s cottage. The husband and wife should enjoy working together as a team and will do so around the clock. They will share the responsibilities of caring for 5-6 children all day, every day. Pine Vale is a non-therapeutic group home, supported only by the churches of Christ (no government funds). There is a reasonable salary (approx. $48,000/yr), employer-paid health insurance and retirement, scheduled relief time (Monday-Friday about every 5 weeks), and earned vacation.
