MS/AL: Bill Irby is retiring after 30 years at West Hobbs Street in Athens, the church has hired Jameson Steward to be their new preacher. Jameson moving from Smithville, MS.

AL: David Courington has retired from the Sylvan Springs Church of Christ after preaching for 42+ years.  The congregation will celebrate his hard work when the pandemic settles down. He will continue to serve as an elder.  

KY: Mt. Pleasant church in Bowling Green is seeking a full-time Associate Minister. Mt. Pleasant is a congregation of approximately 230 and the role would be focused on enhancing and supporting the education program and overseeing youth programs. He would teach on Sunday and Wednesdays, organize the education program including recruiting and developing teachers, manage technology, social media and live-streaming, oversee youth events including Lads to Leaders, CYC, VBS, devotionals; and identify additional opportunities and events for spiritual growth and development, preach occasionally including when pulpit minister is unavailable. MD: The Rockville church of Christ is seeking a full-time minister. They are a congregation of about 100 from diverse backgrounds. Applicants must be solidly grounded and schooled in the scriptures and bring passion and enthusiasm for the Lord’s work. The ideal candidate will be married, have at least four years of full-time pulpit experience, and provide examples of a successful ministry. GA/AL: Sam Welsh has accepted the Youth Minister role at Atlas near Florence. This leaves the Central church in Augusta open.

WA/FL: Mark Jamison gets the self-scoop. He will be leaving the Puyallup church in Washington, and has accepted the invitation to work with the University City church in Gainesville.

TX: The Sunray congregation is searching for a young man to fill the dual role of Preacher/Youth Minister working with a 250+ membership. Sunray is a great small town to raise a family in. Please send resume or inquiries to kirklpope@icloud.com 

GA: Our second self-scoop goes to Darrell Allen. He has been selected as the new full-time minister for the Sylvester Church of Christ. 

TN: James Wall who preaches for the Pond church in Dickson says they are looking for an Associate Minister to follow Roger Michael who passed away a few weeks ago. They want a man who can teach adult Bible classes and song leading would be a plus. Send resume or contact James at (615) 806-3564.

TN: Andrew Lopez will be the Youth Minister in Residence at the West End Church of Christ in Knoxville starting in June 2021!

TN: The Church of Christ in the Glade, in Fairfield Glade, is looking for a full-time minister.  Near Crossville, TN, Fairfield Glade is a retirement community of approximately 8000 people. They are looking for an experienced, mature, compassionate pulpit preacher. The congregation of approximately 60 members supports and contributes to six international missions including EEM and WCBC as well as outreach to our local community. They do not have elders.
