MO: The church of Christ in Foristell is seeking a youth ministry or preaching-focused intern for 8 weeks in the summer of 2022. The ideal majoring in Bible or a closely related field who will have completed at least 2 years of schooling going into summer of 2022. Your goal should be to work in ministry, with the youth, in mission work, church planting, or any other ministry within the church. You will be working under the direction of the elders and work closely with the preacher to gain skills helpful towards full-time ministry. They want to help you gain practical ministry organizational skills, develop your writing, speaking, and preaching skills, help you learn the basics of ministry within different work areas in the church, develop visitation skills, and to help you work with the youth. “We are only seeking those who are mature enough to be a spiritual mentor to others, especially the youth, and who can be a Christ-like example to the congregation.” This is a paid internship of $625 per week. Housing is provided along with most meals shared with a local family. They are a congregation of about 75 members with 3 caring shepherds. GA: The Central Church of Christ (CCOC) & Central Youth Group (CYG), in Dalton, Ga, are looking to add an energetic, relationship building, youth & community focused FEMALE intern for the Summer of 2022. NC: Lake Norman Church of Christ in Huntersville is looking for a minister and family to serve in a Bible-based, family-oriented, servant-hearted fellowship. Duties would include evangelizing through community outreach, personally ministering to members of the congregation, preaching, teaching Bible classes, serving at least one week at Carolina Bible Camp, and playing an active role in church events. WV: The North End Church of Christ in Parkersburg is a congregation of about 200 members. They want a man who is well-versed in the scriptures and will preach the truth to strengthen and edify the congregation. He should be friendly and outgoing to work well with the membership and the elders. He will keep regular office hours, allowing for visitation of those who are ill as well as members of the congregation. He will speak for the congregation twice on Sunday and teach Bible classes on Sunday and Wednesday. They prefer a man who is middle-aged and has a family. AR: The Monticello church is seeking a full-time minister. They have 100-120 members, three elders, eight deacons, and a college minister. They are looking for someone who is growth-minded. TN: The Great Oaks Church of Christ in Memphis is looking for a full-time Involvement Minister. This will be a new addition to the current ministry staff, which includes a Preaching Minister, Young Adult Minister, Spanish Minister, and Youth Minister. The Involvement Minister role will focus on relationships and getting people connected and involved, including new Christians and new members. It will also include Bible teaching, occasional preaching, and other ministry tasks. GA: The Rossville Church of Christ near Chattanooga has just begun the search for a full-time youth/family minister. They are a congregation of approximately 220 members (post-covid) striving to regain full-time attendance of about 265 members (pre-covid). The church has an established team of five elders and sixteen deacons. The current minister has served for 29 years and recently tenured associate for 10 years. The congregation has had a part-time youth minister for decades and now desires that role to be full-time. They prefer an applicant who is married, with at least two years of ministry experience, and a Bible or ministry degree. Duties include but are not limited to participation and planning youth education and activities, some family ministry, plus teaching classes, preaching and leading singing occasionally.
