MS: Amory Church of Christ is searching for a pulpit minister. Their average attendance is 160, are over overseen by 4 elders and have 7 very active deacons. Amory is located near Tupelo and has a population of 7,000. Their current minister, Phillip Hathcock is stepping out of the pulpit after over 30 years. AL: The Atmore church is looking for a full-time preacher. They have been blessed by an older man who has been part-time for 15 years who is leaving on good terms. TX: The North Loop Church of Christ in Gladewater (near Longview) is looking for a married man to come work with the congregation to help build a youth program. TN: Center Chapel Church of Christ in Mt Juliet is seeking an associate minister to work alongside the current pulpit minister. They are an established church of about 150 members served by 5 elders and 4 deacons. The successful candidate will be asked to teach adult/youth classes, preach as needed, and work with the intern youth minister. They prefer a man who is married but will consider all who wish to submit a resume. AR: The Family Ministry elders at the College church in Searcy after reviewing the youth program have determined that their youth and families have needs that would be best served with the following staff structure.  Each of the following positions would be a full-time appointment.  Click on the job title to review each position's job description.

1. A youth minister that would oversee the full youth and family program (grades 7-12) while having the specific responsibility for planning and directing activities and functions for all youth grades 10-12.

2. An assistant youth minister (male) that would be under the direct supervision of the youth minister and his primary responsibility would be for planning and directing the activities and functions for all youth grades 7-9.

3. An assistant youth minister (female) that would be under the direct supervision of the youth minister and her primary responsibility would be for planning and directing activities and functions for female youth in grades 7-12. TN: The Little Mountain church is seeking a bi-vocational minister.  They are “a small but loving congregation” located approximately 5 minutes from downtown Winchester, just off Hwy 64.  Duties will include (but are not limited to) evangelizing through community outreach, preaching, teaching Bible classes, visiting and contacting members of the congregation, and assisting in church growth.  Little Mountain is a fundamental part of 2 on-site youth camps.  The minister will be required to take an active role in the camps. Other sources of income may be needed.  They anticipate having elders and deacons in the near future. IL: Philo Road Church of Christ is seeking an evangelist/preacher to work with the congregation and the eldership at Urbana.  The community includes the University of Illinois and Parkland Community College.  In addition to a local benevolence program (Acts 2 food and clothing distribution), the congregation is involved in the State Fair Evangelism, Shults-Lewis Children’s Home, prison ministry, and local community service projects.  The Illini for Christ is a college outreach group that focuses on Bible studies, service projects, and fellowship.  Teens are involved in church camp and the SYS (Summer Youth Series). Internationally the congregation supports Caring for Kenya, the Biblical Institute of Central America (BICA), Healing Hands International, and Clothes for Ghana. The congregation has a desire to grow spiritually and numerically. The university community provides both activities for involvement and a mission field of 50,000 plus students. Contact elder Carl Burkybile cwburkybile@gmail.com Philo Road Church of Christ  217 898-0425.

AL: Childhaven in Cullman, AL. has an immediate need for two sets of houseparents. 

For the Mother/Infant program. This couple will work with teenage mothers in foster care, providing hands-on guidance as they learn parenting skills and Childhaven works to "break the cycle" of abuse.  

For the Transitional Living Program.  This couple will provide supervision to older residents as they graduate high school, begin working/attending college, and begin to transition to independence. 

Childhaven is also seeking a Licensed Social Worker (or licensed eligible in the state of AL). to coordinate social services. The individual will manage a smaller caseload than typical of other human services agencies and work alongside fellow Christians that share your faith and values! GA: Scoop to Reed Swindle. The Dasher Church of Christ has about 200 members in a small rural community in South Ga. They are located across the road from Ga Christian School. They have at this moment 5 Elders and are in the process of adding one more in the very near future. They have around 30 youth and participate in Lads to Leaders.
