AR: The 70 West Church in Hot Springs is looking for a summer intern to work with their youth program. The intern will be working with an experienced youth minister and will learn the daily “ins & oust” of youth ministry. They have a full summer calendar and have much experience to share. OH: The Sixth and Washington Streets Church in Marietta has begun a search for a new full-time minister. They want a man who “possesses a thorough understanding of God’s Word, the ability to share it through preaching and teaching, and a desire for a long-term work serving God as a minister of the gospel.” They have approximately 150 attending members and are looking forward to finding a man passionate about the mission to share the gospel of Christ with every creature. OH: The Marlboro Church in Louisville is in search of a full-time pulpit minister. They are a 60-70 member congregation with two elders and one deacon. Louisville is located just East of Canton. MS: The Meridian church is in search of a full-time minister. They are a congregation of 35 - 50 active members. The church is served by two elders and two deacons. They want “to honor God and His Son and to serve Him in accordance with His Holy Word.” They want someone who shares with them in that endeavor. TN: The Troy Church is looking for a new Youth and Family Minister. They are a congregation of 100-125 and are looking to grow. Troy currently has a preaching minister and a senior minister who also acts as one of the shepherds. Main responsibilities will include functioning as a part of the ministry team, creating direction for youth and family ministry, planning events for engaging students and families, being active in local outreach with students and their families, and representing Christ to the Obion County community. MS: Clinton Church of Christ is seeking a minister who defines his ministry as preaching, teaching, and equipping others to serve. Terre Haute is a city of 60,000. It is home to 4 colleges/universities, an excellent school corporation, many outstanding city and county parks, and a bicycle trail network. FL: The Sorrento Hills church is looking to hire a part-time preacher. “We are a loving and friendly group of Christians, striving to share the Gospel and be a light in our community.” Sorrento Hills is a fairly young congregation, planted in 2016. They are now in a building and wanting to get out into the community and evangelize. They want a minister who will share in that mission. “He will be scripturally sound, faithful in word and action according to what the Word teaches, and passionate about meeting people and bringing the message to them where they are.” They have a diverse age group, which includes many children. They have a Facebook page, a YouTube channel, and live-stream every service. They are involved with House to House, Heart to Heart, the Florida School of Preaching, Latin American Missions/YES II, Lads to Leaders, Weeki Wachee Christian Camp, and Central Florida Bible Camp. They recently established a monthly community clothing drive and are currently working towards a food pantry and "blessing box." Duties would include preaching, teaching Bible classes, working with the youth, and community outreach/evangelism. “We need a go-getter for the Lord!” Prior experience in ministry and personal evangelism is a plus. TX: The Bell Avenue Church in Amarillo is seeking a full-time preacher/minister. They are a congregation of about 160 members with a post-Covid attendance of 125. Live streaming of services is provided. The church is served by four elders, two deacons, and a full-time youth minister. The ideal candidate must have pulpit experience and a degree in Bible from a Christian college/university or preaching school. “Messages should include addressing difficult topics and current challenges that impact the daily lives of the congregation and challenge members to think and dig deeper into the scriptures. He must engage spiritually and socially with all segments of the congregation and community. He must be able to teach adult Bible classes as well as ‘one-on-one’ Bible studies. Additionally, office hours along with outreach and visitation time each week is an important part of this ministry. He must be the husband of a wife who is supportive, involved, and contributes to the edification and growth of the church. TN: The Double Springs Church is looking for a Family Involvement Minister. The minister needs 3-5 years of experience as a youth minister. Duties will include spiritual leadership and teaching, family engagement activity planning, curriculum planning, VBS coordinating, and worship leading, including preaching one sermon a month. TN: The Athens Church seeks a full-time Family and Youth Life Minister (FYM). The congregation had 190 to 200 average attendance prior to the impact of the pandemic and hit the ground running with a united eldership, deacons, ministry leaders, and involved parents who are interested in sharing the gospel with their community. The primary responsibility of the FYM is to oversee the family and youth ministries—serving families with children ages birth (nursery) to 18 (12th grade). They currently have a three-tier structure in place: (1) birth to pre-K (2) K to 5th grade and (3) 6th to 12th. The expectation would be that the FYM partner with lead parents for children ages birth to 5th grade, and his primary focus will be on youth in the 6th to 12th grades age range (middle school to high school). The eldership desires that the FYM promote a ministry philosophy that is family-based, both in the sense that the importance of the physical families of the youth are emphasized—to equip parents to work on building faith in and discipling their children at home; along with fostering an inter-generational approach encouraging mature Christians to teach and mentor younger members. The FYM is expected to be a leader and to provide the guidance necessary to get the best results from the program. He will coordinate ministry planning and facilitation with ministry leaders, deacons, parents, and adult volunteers and keep the elders advised. IL: The Sunnyside Road Church is looking for a preacher. “The opening is for a brother who will work under the supervision of the Elders and handle most of the preaching and teaching duties, be an office manager, visit as needs arise, and help with the coordination of various ministries.” Average Sunday morning worship attendance = 55, the median age of members is 51. They have excellent facilities; a large auditorium, fellowship hall, office complex, eight classrooms, and a youth center with no debt as a congregation. They are led by three Elders and five Deacons, a treasurer, and a part-time secretary. They do have a preacher’s house if one is needed. TN: The Middleton church is looking for a part-time youth minister. They are a congregation of around 150 members and three elders. They are looking for someone to work with the youth group who would teach Bible classes, assist with Lads2Leaders, and have several activities for the youth that focus on service, spiritual growth, and fellowship. The ideal candidate should be working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Bible or have already earned this degree. They would prefer if the candidate were willing to serve in various acts of worship such as leading singing, prayers, and occasionally preaching.
