They just keep coming and coming...thanks
Welcome to SCOOPS. If you happen to be new here are a couple of things to note:
Read the last three to five posts if you want to see what is out there. There are A LOT of openings, not just the 30+ listed in this post.
These are the “want ads” we are not recommending these jobs, just posting them. It is your role to “kick the tires.”
We believe every congregation needs a good minister, even “bad” ones (if such exists).
If you see something in “-“ there is a reason and we are quoting directly from the post sent us.
Finally, WE keep a list of ministers looking. You can check “confidential” if you wish for your name to not be given before we contact you: https://forms.gle/LtnCthHegyaqme9UA.

NC: Let’s start with a good one. The Lake Norman church in Huntersville is looking for their next minister! I (Dale) met with these elders a few weeks ago and if you have any interest you’d do well to contact them. Huntersville is a beautiful area and the church is poised to grow. These elders will work well with you. They are interested in learning more about you, your qualifications for the position, and your experience. * The minister position minimum qualifications and competencies • Faithful Christian in the church of Christ • Doctrinally and scripturally sound, mature in the faith • A Minister, not a Preacher-only • Good public speaker, Bible class teacher, and personal Bible teacher • Friendly, outgoing, studious and hardworking. * Here are some things they would prefer but are not deal-breakers • Bachelor's degree from a university associated with the church of Christ • Experience (5-10 years or more) working under an eldership • Married with children • Excellent writer. The successful applicant will be offered a competitive compensation package (including allowances for housing and insurance) set by the elders and commensurate with experience, qualifications, and local cost of living. Lake Norman was founded in 1994 by three members of the church. In 1998 they moved to the current property. As the congregation grew, a new building with auditorium seating for 250 was constructed on the existing property and completed in 2002. The original building was renovated to provide additional office and meeting space. In 2006, deacons and elders were appointed. The church family grew to an average Sunday pre-pandemic attendance of approximately 100 (currently 70), with roughly 60 family units. Interested?
