TX/AL: This week’s self-scoop to Dewayne Bryant. He will be moving to Montgomery to be a new Bible professor at Faulkner. That means the New York Avenue church in Arlington will be open in August. Congrats to Faulkner and Dewayne.

TN: The New Johnsonville Church of Christ is looking for a new preacher. Their attendance runs about 125 and they have two elders. OK: The church of Christ in Allen is looking for a full time minister/preacher. He needs to be solid in his faith and able to encourage and help develop faith, hope and love. AR: The Jackson St. Church of Christ in Magnolia is searching to replace a Youth Minister who is moving. The congregation has around 150+ members, 6 elders, 4 deacons, a pulpit minister, and secretary. They also have an active campus ministry at the local college. The current youth group has around 10-15 students. They mention the new man will have great support! TN: Keith Wilson is beginning his work with the church plant that is North Bradley Chuch of Christ in Cleveland.

GA: Jeremy Hinote has been with the Central church in Augusta as their youth minister and later their involvement minister. He has taken a role as a full time counselor in Augusta.

AL/TN: The Grant church has hired Robert Hatfield from Maury City.

AR: Our second self-scoop to Bradley Tate who has taken the work with the Nettleton Church of Christ in Jonesboro.

TN: The New Hope Road Church of Christ in Hendersonville is in need of a part-time associate minister/youth minister. They are a congregation of about 90 members  overseen by 3 elders and 4 deacons. Responsibilities of this role include preaching on a regular rotation plus filling in for the pulpit minister as needed, planning events with the small youth group, lead youth Devos and Youth Sunday School classes, and regular posting on church's social media platform. OK: The Vinita Church of Christ is seeking a full-time minister. “Vinita is small town living with big city access.” It is located halfway between Tulsa and Joplin, MO. They “have a Super Walmart, a very good hospital that is owned by St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa where many procedures and testing can be performed in Vinita.” The schools are good with several teachers in the congregation as members influencing the school. KS: Thanks for Willie Hamblen for this scoop. Jed Sikes, who was serving as the Youth & Family Minister, has agreed to assume the pulpit minister role at the Emporia Avenue in Wichita. AR/TN: Self-scoop number three this time goes to Dustin Semore he has taken the job as the Sports Information Director at Freed-Hardeman University. He has enjoyed his work with the  South Thornton Church of Christ in Piggott for the last 5-plus years. South Thornton has  around 120 members and is served by three elders and seven deacons. Dustin will be driving from Jackson to Piggott on Sundays on a part-time basis until a replacement can be found.  Piggott is at the extreme northeastern edge of Arkansas, about an hour northeast of Paragould and Crowley’s Ridge College. TN: The Bartlett Woods church is looking for a full-time Children and Family Minister who is “grounded in the Bible, is enthusiastic about working with children and their families, and desires to grow our children’s education program.” They have a children’s education wing that currently utilizes a rotation education model. GA: This one is a little unusual so we’ll quote them several times in the scoop. The Pisgah Church of Christ is looking for a “New Preacher/TV Evangelist.” Pisgah churcis located just outside of Ellijay. They are seeking a part-time “Sunday Pulpit Minister to preach and teach God’s Absolute Word of Truth to us for 4.5 hours each Sunday morning/early afternoon. This position has typically paid between $300 to $500 per week plus vacation/sick pay. Our prior regular Sunday preacher was with us for 13 years, driving 3 hours each way from Alabama (6 hours of travel) and our current 81 year old preacher is now retiring/moving to be with his family in Alabama.
