News and a few scoops

Let’s get to Scooping, but first, two quick things.

A congregation in West Kentucky has established a 1.1million dollar trust through Freed-Hardeman University that is available for students planning to be ministers.  This is not an endowment and the church controlling the funds would like to spend it all over the next 10 years. Scholarships can cover full cost plus books if needed for undergraduate or graduate students. They have to live in or have parents or grandparents in the 8 county purchase area of Kentucky. If you might benefit from this generous gift or if you know of young men who might, contact Dave Clouse at dclouse@fhu.edu.

TJI will host BETTER in Kentucky in less than a month. The date is July 18 and we want you there. There is a small charge, but if you cannot afford it, we want you there anyway, just click on scholarship. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/336762635107. Gary Bradley, Keith Parker, Hiram kemp and Jeff and Dale will be the presenters. Help us spread the word. And you get registered too!
