CA: The Pleasant View Church of Christ in Pleasanton, located about 28 miles from Oakland and about 40 miles from San Francisco, is looking for a full time pulpit minister and preacher. The ideal candidate “must be solid from a doctrinal standpoint, have good to excellent presentation skills and have a spirit for evangelism.” The candidate can be just starting out in his preaching career, be a seasoned veteran or anywhere within that spectrum as long as he has a heart for preaching, serving and evangelizing. AL: This scoop to Justin Brasfield who has been helping the Centerville Church of Christ for the past few months with preaching and preachers. They are looking for an evangelist and teacher who would help the church with revitalization and outreach. “If you're looking for a chance to help a church grow, then this is a great opportunity.” The role would be best as a bi-vocational minister or someone with outside support, as the budget is limited given they only have 20-25 members. AL: The Regency Church of Christ in Mobile is looking for a Full-Time Youth and Family Minister. Their current youth minister, Andrew Howell, will be moving into another role on the ministry staff. The Youth and Family Minister will focus his ministry on the 6th-12th grade and their families. There are currently 50 students in the youth ministry. The teen class averages 30 students on Wednesday nights and 20 on Sunday mornings. They would like to continue their preaching team model. The preaching responsibilities have been shared between the ministry staff for the past three years. We are looking at both candidates who have a desire to be a part of the preaching team and those who don’t have a desire to regularly preach.
