TN   The Neely’s Bend Church of Christ in Madison is looking for a full-time minister.  They “are a conservative congregation with traditional services.” They have two elders and about 60 in Sunday morning worship attendance. TN: The East Side church in Cleveland is seeking an experienced full-time Pulpit Minister to work alongside the Family Minister, Youth Minister and church Secretary. The East Side church is a well established congregation overseen by three elders and has six deacons. East Side has Sunday morning attendance of 175 to 200 with a mix of young and mature families. IA: The congregation in Osceola is looking for a minister who would join them in their “strong desire to love God and love our neighbors, to worship God in spirit and in truth, to provide our youth with an environment that will enable them to grow into strong dedicated Christian men and women, and we seek to grow in our community outreach.” They are seeking a minister to join the family and partner with them. The town has a population of 5000, plus many surrounding communities. They have roughly 50 members, widely ranging in age demographics, with a higher-than-average number of young families with children. They currently have a five-person rotation of men from the congregation who do the preaching and adult Bible class teaching as well as a committed group of women who provide the majority of the children’s Bible classes. They are therefore able to be flexible relative to job duties, allowing the candidate to do what can be most effective in the Lord’s work. The candidate must have a desire to work with the youth and growing families and be community oriented. TN: Our first self-scoop this time goes to Darrick Shepherd who announced last week that he will be leaving Goodlettsville at the end of August and in September will begin working with the Una congregation. Goodlettsville is wanting to hire as soon as possible. If you are interested, let us know.

SC: Jamie Byrom has moved to Columbia to preach at the St. Andrews Road church.

MI: The Gateway church in Southgate has hired Patrick Medlock to be their new preacher.

TN/FL/ : The St Elmo church in Chattanooga will be looking for a new minister as David Pharr has accepted the work at Concord Street in Orlando. Link to St Elmo: https://www.stelmococ.org/.

TN: The Scarboro church in Oak Ridge is interested in receiving resumés from prospective preachers as their current preacher is retiring. They are a congregation of about 20 to 25. They would like to have someone who is interesting in supplementing their income with a part-time job secularly. OK: The church is Allen is a small rural congregation in need of a minister/preacher who is strong in faith and able to help them grow in faith and love. VA: The Southside Church in Winchester is seeking a pulpit minister. Winchester is located in the Shenandoah Valley 75 miles from Washington, DC.  The Winchester/Frederick County area has a population of 125,000.  In addition to many historical sites the city is also home to Shenandoah University.  Southside also has a Spanish-speaking congregation. There is a very active senior group as well as a growing elementary age and teen group. They have an annual VBS and participate in Leadership Training for Christ. One who can preach and teach biblical messages that connect with both members and seekers. Their goal is to encourage, convict and inspire people to greater Christian faith, service, and mission. AL: David Dixon is leaving the pulpit work at 6th Avenue in Jasper as of last Sunday.

TN/KY: Our second self-scoop is to Bob Palmer who announced his resignation at Sulphur Well. He plans to finish out the ministry before the end of this calendar year, likely transitioning fully at the end of November.  He and his family will be moving to Kentucky. They have worked with Sulphur Well’s for over 14 years.
