TN: The Sandy Hook congregation announced Sunday that they are adding David Stofel to staff in the area of Involvement and Outreach. Sandy Hook is a growing church between Columbia and Lawrenceburg.

AL: Chris Moran has been named the New Director of North Alabama Christian Children’s Home. He follows the excellent work of Don Williams who is retiring from that role, Chris will be leaving the pulpit work at Mars Hill (more below).

TN: Church Street Church in Lewisburg is seeking to hire a part-time Minister of Song. This position will lead the worship in song at all worship periods, work closely with other ministers to coordinate the song service with lesson topics and work with the youth and congregation to grow everyone's appreciation for worship in song. IL: The Fairview Heights Church in the metropolitan St. Louis area, is seeking an associate minister to serve the congregation and be part of their leadership team. FL: The West Milton Church in Pace is looking for a full-time minister. Pace is a fast growing area just east of Pensacola in Northwest Florida, West Milton is a small congregation (avg. 40 Sunday a.m. attendance) with lots of potential and room for growth. It is currently led and served by two elders and two deacons. A 3 bedroom house located directly behind the building with utilities paid would be included in any compensation package offered. OK: The Madill congregation is looking for an additional minister whose primary focus would be on youth and young families. It would also include some preaching. Madill is a vibrant community that is experiencing a lot of growth. The congregation is a healthy mix of young families and older couples with 3 elders and 5 deacons. They also have a Spanish work. The attendance is around 150-165 on Sundays. The minister will work with the current minister, eventually sharing the pulpit with him. They are looking for a long-term relationship. ID: The Buhl congregation is looking for a full-time minister. Their weekly attendance runs 50-60. They are located in southern Idaho. The last two preachers have been young guys from a school of preaching. They will entertain all possibilities. The church is financially stable and can provide complete support. While they do not have elders they have a core group of men that should be transitioning that direction. Buhl is a small town of 4500 people in a farming community. There a small airport in Twin Falls (20 min) and larger one in Boise (2 hrs). Buhl has all forms of recreation within a hour or two. The cost of living would be much less than many places in the US. AL: The Mars Hill Church in Florence is seeking a full-time pulpit minister. They are served by three elders and five deacons, and a youth and family minister. They currently have around 70-80 in regular attendance. The current minister is leaving on good terms after 11 years to pursue another ministry opportunity. It is expected that the minister is Biblically centered in focus and doctrine. The primary responsibility of the minister is to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ. Other responsibilities include: Ministering to the congregation. Visitation of sick and shut-in. Leading various programs. Conducting outreach and evangelizing the lost. Aid in the strengthening and growth of the congregation. Assist with the planning and organization of worship services, lead and or assist withspecial events and outreach. Comfortable using technology in sermons and lessons. Provide bible-based counseling as needed.

Education: Prefer a ministry degree from a Christian university associated with the Churches of Christ but will consider a godly man with no ministry degree with sufficient preaching/ministry experience. Expectations: Married with Children preferred but not a must. Work with the membership to fulfill the church’s mission, purpose, and programs. Maintain a regular program of personal spiritual development. Establish and maintain a presence in the local community. Various administrative tasks, such as: preparing a weekly bulletin, maintaining the church calendar, and maintaining the church’s web and social media presence.
