Is It Possible?
Is it really possible that the same God who created the universe, who made us in His Image, who gives and sustains life, who watched His only Son die for us at the hands of wicked men; is it really possible that this God believes we are important. Is it possible that He wants to use us to share His Good News with the world?
Is it possible that He can use clay pots to spread the Kingdom? Is it possible that He invites us into His Throne Room to speak to Him whenever we desire? Is it possible that He cares so deeply for us that He hurts when we hurt, that He knows about every hair on our head, every concern in our heart, and every problem on our hands?
Is it possible that our God is willing to use us, even with our weaknesses and our inconsistencies, to glorify Him? Is it possible that He forgives us when we fall, lifts us up when we are down, and helps us move forward when we are spiritually dry? Is it possible that the one who knows our every sin and misdeed, loves us anyway?
All of this is not only possible, it is a reality. When we feel discouraged, defeated, or depressed, we can turn to Him. We can trust Him. He cares for us. He is concerned about our pain. He is sympathetic and empathetic to our hurts. He is compassionate toward us when we are weak.
Thank You, dear Father for all You continually do for us. Thank you for loving us when we are so unlovable. Thank You for being patient with us when we are inconsistent. Thank You for offering us peace that passes all understanding, for allowing us to live the abundant life as long as we are here, and for promising us Heaven, when our time here is done. Thank you for your mercy, grace, and love toward us. In Jesus Name, We pray, Amen.
