Noise?

Texts, Tweet, Messenger, Phone call, Meetings, Drop-in-visit, Mail, email, What’s Up App, Voice Mail, Facetime…noise. Always noise. Radio, TV, podcast, Apple Music, Pandora, YouTube, Live Video, Zoom…noise. Always noise. Wearying noise. Our world has more noise than it used to have. And much of that noise comes with a demanding need to respond. 

Perhaps today you need this: “Come to me all you who are weary and heavy burdened. I will give you rest.” “Peace I give to you, not as the world gives. Do not let your heart be troubled or cowardly.” 

Whatever noise is troubling your heart, we pray you will find some quiet where God’s peace can give you the strength, energy, boldness, and faith to face it.
