A Prayer for God's Men

God, 

We do not know what we will encounter tomorrow, but You do. We do not know what challenge may confront us but You do. We do not know who might arrive in our assembly and what they might become or do, but You do. Help those who minister to have some of Your vision and hope for others. Help them to lean into the trust in You that they preach and teach. Help them to know that come what may You love them and will see them through any challenge be it one of faith, confidence, fear, anxiety, frustration, loneliness, brokenness, or attack. May their spirits be high and their faith bold. May they exhibit Your joy and peace and share such with those who are lost, confused, or hurting. May they see beyond the present armies of the enemy that You are mightier than they and will, overcome for and with Your people. We pray you will bless Your ministers and that they will know they are loved by us and by many but most of all by You.
